Festival of the Sea and of the Sardine
In early July, by the banks of the Miño in northern Portugal, one can savor Atlantic sardines at the party celebrating Ancora fishermen that is held every year around this time. It involves several restaurants, craft merchants and natural products of this region, on the northern coast of Portugal. The roasted and grilled meat, green wine and beer were delicious! The service was exceptional on the terrace of the Restaurant Verde Pinho. To end the night, nothing beats a caipirinha with views over the sea.
