Festival of the Cod

The Cod Festival is primarily a gastronomic festival set in a large tent in a space that's about 2000 square meters and has a collection of bars and restaurants in the area which exhibit their food and the preparation of cod in different and varied ways. Much appreciated not only by the Lusitanians, but by the Galicians as well. The festival goers are entertained by a group of bagpipers and the music was mainly popular Galician music, probably by the influx of Spanish to the festival and the proximity of our culture. There were also tours of the wine route Alvariño to wineries or wine house Alvariño and Film Museum.
