Ferragudo
Situated on the estuary of the River Arade, Ferragudo is a fishing village and its houses are traditional fishermen houses situated on the other side of Portimao and where the famous Castelo do Arade is. We walked along in the spring and saw some restaurants offering delicious fish, but as it was a bit early we decided to enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean and Portimao and meet the people. Then we turned around and went back to the town square, just a few meters away, called Pracca da Rainha Dona Leonor (plaza of the Queen D. Leonor) where we found cafes, restaurants and even a pizzeria we stopped to take a photo, ate outside on the terrace and it was a good price.
