Ferenc Hopp Museum of East Asian Arts

Ferenc Hopp was a wealthy 19th-century optician and also a great traveler. In fact, he circled the globe five times during his lifetime. He was a passionate collector of art, especially Asian art, and donated all of his collection to the Hungarian citizenry. The museum is set up in his mansion (which, by the way, features an amazing garden) and contains lots of beautiful objects like textiles, statues and paintings. A must for travel fans.
