Fenwick

Fenwick is a department store, similar to that of El Corte Ingles in Spain, which was created in 1882 in Newcastle. This is the 1st store that was opened, and is in Northumberland Street. The company is also based there. Nowadays there are several shops around the country, in London, York, Windsor and Canterbury, but the Newcastle store is the oldest. It's the shop in which the decoration is cared more, and worth a visit. It's one of the largest shops in the country, and the Christmas shop window displays are famous for being some of the most beautiful and extravagant, with impressive decorations, as in Harrodd's shop in London.
