Federico García Lorca Park is located at the junction of three streets in the city of Granada, creating different entries from the streets: Virgen Blanca, Arabial and Camino de Purchil.
It has a large field of 71,500 square meters occupying the Huerta de San Vicente, where Federico García Lorca's family had a summer house between 1926 and 1936. Actually, the poet lived and wrote numerous works here until his arrest and later murder at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War.
The park has different walks and paths, surrounded by a great variety of plant species: plum trees, pomegranate trees, sequoias, pine trees, olive trees, pear trees, maple trees, poplars, acacias, etc.
