Fallas Museum

Pues no puedes pasar por alto esta singular visita al Museu Faller de València. Integrado en la Red Valenciana de Museos Falleros, te aproxima al mundo de las Fallas, declaradas Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, para poder conocer su evolución a lo largo de la historia y valorar todas sus vertientes. Actualmente, además de la exposición permanente de ninots indultados, carteles anunciadores, retratos de las Falleras Mayores de València e insignias de comisiones falleras, podemos encontrar  una exposición temporal titulada “Els Puche, arrels de falles” que estará abierta hasta el 28 de octubre en el Espacio Josep Alarte. Integra obras de diversa factura de tres generaciones de artistas falleros, Julián, Pepe y Marina Puche, sus aportaciones tanto en estilo como en la técnica y planteamientos artísticos. El catálogo de esta exposición también está a la venta en el Museo Fallero de Valencia. En 2017 nos visitaron 109.253 personas, ven a vernos y entenderás porqué somos el museo municipal más visitado de nuestra ciudad.

Valencia y las fallas son todo uno. La fiesta más popular e internacional de Valencia se caracteriza por un trabajo de preparación colosal, tanto para la construcción de las maravillosas fallas en las que hay meses y meses de trabajo como en las decoraciones de las calles, la preparación de las falleras y del entusiasmo de una ciudad entera en su fiesta. Pero todos conocemos el final de la fiesta "el foc" todas las fallas son quemadas, el fuego las consume en el final de fiestas. Un ninot se indulta cada año! Es junto con el material fotográfico lo que queda de cada fiesta anual de fallas. Y todos ellos están en el museu faller de Valencia, muy cerca de la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. La visita, sin duda, vale mucho la pena. Desde los años 30 a nuestros días, podemos ver los ninots y conocer como se han ido fabricando y los cambios en su construcción y montaje... Interesante para todas las edades, un recorrido por la historia de las fallas.

En él se guardan todos los ninots indultats (figuras de las fallas que se salvaron del fuego) desde 1934 hasta la actualidad. Además de los ninots, también hay en él carteles oficiales que anunciaban la fiesta cada año, fotografías de fallas destacadas y otros elementos relacionados con las Fallas. El edificio está muy cerca de la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, que de paso puedes visitar también.
