Fairground of Ponferrada

The fairground is installed on the esplanade just behind Sports City, opposite the Quinto Centenario bridge. The fair opens around 30th August and lasts 10 days, during the celebration of the patron saint of Encina and Encinina. Like any self-respecting fair, there are plenty of rides and attractions for all tastes, ages and stomachs, from typical bumper cars, the house of terror or the Grasshopper, to the new attractions that turn you upside down over and over again until your stomach empties out completely!!
