Unforgettable
Naini tal is a mountain town some two thousand odd meters above sea level where it's cool and rainy. It's the perfect city for the so-called Hindu high society of the plains, who are accustomed to living soaring temperatures. I was there in the middle of tourist season. The crowded streets, markets, shops and there were even overflowing fair and sports activities organized for the occasion. It was the only city out of all that I visited where I had all the "services" that a tourist needs. Although it also had its downfalls, it was honestly a magical place full of colour, life and highly entertaining.
