Om Beach at Gokarna

Today we continue our journey to the south to another beach of Gokarna (India), another wonderful lost beach called Om beach. Its name comes from the Hindu symbol for Om (one of the most sacred mantras of Hinduism, symbolizing the energy of everything, the whole universe) and interestingly this beach has a strong resemblance to that symbol. We can reach Om beach on foot, or by boat. Just like at other beaches, here too we can rent a cottage as they've already built a resort (which seems sooo expensive, but with all the amenities, I guess. We went for daily walks, you can take yoga classes, meditate, eat, visit friends to eat or just take a bath.
