Now called Paseo de Compras Plaza Roma,...
Now called Paseo de Compras Plaza Roma, Roma Hotel before, its framed within the Art Nouveau or Catalan modernism and built in the early twentieth century. It was considered of Net Asset Value by the Municipality of Rosario, by Ordinance No. 8245 and Regulations of 2008 in Category A 2a. Also its framed within the direct partial protection, which means the "conservation of fronts", windows, stairs and "parts considered valuable that revalue everything", so it shouldn't have the current lamps, "antennas and / or wiring to be displayed above or in front of the facade".
It's a really beautiful building in the downtown area but unfortunately it went on sale in 2007, with a negligible value by the way, and whoever took it over didn't take into account any of the specifications indicated by the previous legislation, probably blaming the credit crunch.
