Hotel Europa

Last week I spent three nights at this hotel to explore Palermo and its surroundings. The main reason for choosing it was the price: at 37 € for the double room it's real bargain since it is a three-star hotel. Its location is very good, in a commercial area with many shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of the historic center. In addition, the airport bus stops just a 5 minute walk away from the hotel in the Politeama Theater Square. We were two people and we were allocated a very spacious triple room with three beds, a wardrobe and a desk with a minibar and TV (we didn't use them).
