The surroundings of the Plaza Altamira are always congested - the metro with its four exits, cars passing in various directions, pedestrians always in a hurry. One of the nearby houses, however, offers a place of tranquility that limits the outside chaos. A green door opens to give us a very large space with flower gardens, walkways, tall trees and long grass to pass the day in. I walked into this place with a book in hand, seeking the shade of a tree. I sat down and no one said anything to me. Children were playing with a ball, others, further down, were also reading. It was a weekday and from where I was, I could see the house perfectly, which was once a major farm in the city that opened its doors to host some exhibits.
