This school has formed great sculptors of glass works. It was founded in the year 1920 and in the year 1954 Stanislav Libensky Zelezny Brod came to be an influence in the life of the school as a teacher, an artist and a director. In the year 1955 he began his cooperation in making sculptures with molten glass with Jaroslava Brychtova, who later became his wife. From then until his death in the year 2002, the production of works has brought together the biggest Czech contribution to modern art. Today, after remodeling, it has spaces for classrooms, laboratories, a furnace for making glass pieces
