Escala Restaurant

On Sunday February 12, 2012, we spent the day in Castro Urdiales. Come lunchtime we had to ask the locals for a place where you can go to eat well, but also economically. The answer was the Escala Restaurant. It was a hit, the Sunday set menu cost us 14 euros including drinks, we had 6 first plates, and as many desserts. The portions were very generous, and it was a fantastic deal. It's not worth ordering a la carte here. The next time we're passing through we'll definitely have lunch or dinner here again. The only question is whether the cost of the weekday menu will be the same, or cheaper, because the locals didn't mention that it was 10 euros, in case you call them and ask about it.
