Church of the Eremitani

This thirteenth century church, now undergoing restoration, was badly damaged by bombing in the Second World War, and had to be restored to its original Romanesque style. Inside you can see frescoes by Mantegna and Guariento.

In piazza Eremitani si trova l’omonima chiesa che è molto famosa per la cappella Ovetari, del celeberrimo Mantegna.
