A good stay
This neighbourhood is on the outskirts of Tunis, but not too far from the centre (20 minutes by taxi) It's a residential area with plenty of shops, lively but not very traditional - it's a newer part of the city, in a more European style. Disadvantages: it's expensive here, as it's one of the trendier parts of the city. But it's a very safe area, and is ideal for short stays if you'd rather avoid the centre of the city, especially in summer when it gets too hot. There's a cooling breeze here. You can find a place to stay for between 40 and 60 dinars a day, fully equipped with a bedroom, living room, bathroom, kitchen, cleaning, security, intercom, telephone, heating, air conditioning ...
