Empik

Empik is a major chain, like the Polish version of Fnac and the shop in Krakow is one of the largest in the whole of Poland, located in Market Square (Rynek). Despite being a chain, they have preserved the architecture of the space and it is still attached to the adjacent buildings (one of which is the Hard Rock Cafe). This shop has 5 floors and you can find something different on each - on the ground floor, newspapers and magazines, first floor, books and second floor, music. It also has a coffee shop on the top floor overlooking the square. If you cannot find a CD in Empik, it cannot exist!
