Emerald Lakes

In the middle of the path of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, there are three small turquoise lakes. The contrast between the color of the water and the surrounding volcanic landscape, make this place one of the most spectacular in New Zealand. It is a spot that cannot be missed during a trip to New Zealand.
