Hotel Embassy

This summer, I stayed here for six nights during my visit to Florence, and I highly recommend it. It is located close to the bus and train station of Santa Maria Novella, and a tram stop. In about 15 - 20 minutes you can get downtown, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. Part of the hotel has been recently renovated, so it has two zones, so to speak - the old and the new. I requested a room on the modern side, and got it, so keep in mind that this review is only about the new part of the hotel; I don't really know anything about the old. Everything was very clean and in good condition.

The Embassy is located in Florence, a few steps from the central railway station of Santa Maria Novella and the historic center. It is also within walking distance of the business district, the Fortezza da Basso exhibition center and the Palazzo dei Congressi. It offers a bar and a restaurant serving Tuscan specialties, and Internet. In addition to this, the Embassy Hotel is surrounded by restaurants, bars, chic boutiques and craft shops.
