A city with air and village charm
Elgin is the main city of the county of Moray, and today it is a nice city to visit and of great historical significance. Museums, historic structures and cathedrals that are of the most important in Scotland, known as the "Lantern of the North". The life of the city revolves around a main street, which is the market cross and other historic structures, like the historical museum and city hall. However there are 2 main attractions, one is the Cathedral Hill Monument, with lovely views of the city. One of the charms of this place is its location, which at specific times of the year makes this inaccessible.
Spring, summer and part of autumn are the best times to visit, where another characteristic is the friendliness of its people, plus a wealth of interesting places to visit nearby. Possibly the "most beautiful hidden North of Scotland". A city with air but with village charm.
