El Toro Hill

The Cerro del Toro is located near the town of Piriapolis in Uruguay. At the top of the hill there is a bronze 3000 kilogram bull that was brought from Paris. From its mouth flows natural mineral water so it´s known as the fountain of the bull. The people claim that water from here is curative. The locals say that the bull actually existed and belonged to the founder of Piriapolis, Francisco Piria. The precious bull went missing and was later found in a bed of water so Piria commanded that a sculpture be made in honor of the bull. I think the space on the hill where the bull sits is where they
