Beach in Albufera National Park
Playa de El Saler is about a ten minutes' drive south of the city but you can also get there by bus. It's in the middle of the Albufera Natural Park and is notable for its dunes and forests of pine trees bent by the strong eastern winds. The beach is quite long but it's sandy in most places excepts for a few patches of rock. If you want to eat, I recommend Restaurante La Devesa...it's a good place to enjoy a lovely paella or fideuá by the sea. There is parking, showers, lifeguards and restrooms. Overall it's a beach for those who want to enjoy the beach and sun away from the noise of the city.
