Great al fresco dining

Excellent

I recommend visiting Binibeca Vell, a resort town in the south of Menorca near the airport. In my case, I reserved a rental car at the airport and arrived right at noon to begin my route to Binibeca.

I couldn’t have chosen a better place to start my visit to Menorca. The Binibeca area is a residential zone with lots of green spaces and nice homes. It’s right on the sea and has a clean, calm, white-sand beach. The light there is just wonderful.

Binibeca stands out for a complex of white houses done in the traditional Menorcan style, but it also has some shops, grocery stores, and a small tree-lined plaza with some restaurants.

One of the restaurants is the Pescadito, which is where I went to eat. It has a lovely terrace and a gorgeous interior as well. As far as the food goes, I can honestly say I’d give it a 10.

The price was average for Menorca (keep in mind that it’s an island), which is somewhat more expensive than in Mallorca or the mainland Mediterranean coast.

More than acceptable

This restaurant in Benibeca Vell’s central plaza has an ample terrace and a great atmosphere.

The fished is well-priced for its quality and the homemade pies are scrumptious (especially the chocolate and cherry pies). Great!

The Pescadito Binibeca ... Spectacular!

El Pescadito de Binibeca... Espectacular!

Fuimos allí siguiendo la recomendación de minube, y supero todas nuestras expectativas tanto en calidad como en cantidad, y de precio nos salio por unos 20-25 euros/adulto, mas que aceptable comparando restaurantes de Binibequer Vell. Sobre todo, impresionante la mariscada para 1 persona y el arroz caldoso para 2 personas, con lo que comimos 4 adultos y 2 niños (que comen muy bien). La terracita es muy fresca, y a pesar del calor del día de primeros de septiembre estuvimos muy a gusto. Todo perfecto para acabar nuestras vacaciones en Menorca.

We went there on the recommendation of minube and exceeded all our expectations in both quality and quantity, and price we went for about 20-25 euros / adult, more than acceptable Binibeca Vell comparing restaurants. Especially impressive for 1 person and seafood risotto for 2 people, so we ate 4 adults and 2 children (they eat very well). The terrace is very cool, despite the heat of the first day of September were very comfortable. All perfect place to end our holiday in Menorca.

Sin duda alguna, si estás en Menorca no puedes dejar de visitar este pequeño y encantador pueblo pesquero. Sus calles son muy estrechas y todas las casas son de color blanco. Una maravilla de lugar.

Incredible and beautiful town to see. Without a doubt, if you are in Menorca you can not miss visiting this charming little fishing village. Sud streets are very narrow and all houses are white. A wonderful place.

Benibeca, blanco puro

Benibeca es ideal para pasar una tarde, ir a tomar algo. Es un pueblo perfecto construido para eso mismo, pero aunque sea muy turístico y "artificial" vale la pena perderse por sus callejuelas blancas.

Benibeca is ideal for an afternoon, go for a drink. It's a perfect town built for that but, although it is very touristy and "artificial" worth lost in its white streets.

Me aconsejaron este sitio, y fuimos, pedimos una caldereta de langosta y la bordaron y a los pocos días repetimos con la mariscada, buenisima y el personal estupendo y todo fresco, nos enseñaron las piezas vivas, estupendo el precia no estaba mal

I advised this site, and went, we ordered a lobster stew and already we embroidered the few days we repeat with seafood, and great staff buenisima and all fresh, we were shown live parts, the great prides was ok
