El Ladrón De Agua hotel

Lately the so-called "charming hotels" have become fashionable. Well, if the one who invented this definition doesn't know El Ladrón del Agua yet, he or she is quite late.

It is for sure one of the most special hotels I’ve stayed at. And it is not that it is luxurious or anything (even though it is far from being poor), it just has something I can't explain that makes it special.

Maybe it is that window that opens and gives you the actual Alhambra. It maybe the excellent remodelling. Perhaps it is the history as a traditional small mansion town house or the good taste of the owners in its decoration. I don't know.

White, bright and minimalist, the interior of this lovely mansion town house of the 16th century located on a spot of the Darro River has 15 rooms decorated in a fundamental style. The spectacular Renaissance patio, used as a meeting point, is surrounded by impressive common lobbies.
