Cristo de la Concordia

Un Christ rédempteur embrasse la ville depuis le haut de son cerro (montagne en espagnol). Après avoir monté 1399 marches, on peut faire un effort de plus et monter à l’intérieur du Christ pour profiter d’une superbe vue sur la ville depuis les bras du Christ. Mais attention, l'ouverture n'est pas garantie tous les jours. Pour les moins courageux, il existe aussi des télécabines qui vous emmènent jusqu'au pied de la statue qui était encore il y a peu de temps la plus grande représentation du Christ au monde.

Este Cristo es una imponente estatua de Jesucristo, obra del artista César Terrazas Pardo. Se encuentra ubicada en el Cerro San Pedro. Tiene una altura de 33,8 metros y un peso de 2.400 toneladas a una altitud de 2.840 msnm. Para el ascenso a la parte alta de la estatua, posee escaleras en su interior. Y una vez arriba se podrá tener una vista panorámica del valle de Cochabamba. Al Cerro San Pedro se puede subir a pie por escaleras o mediante un teleférico.

Lo más interesante es obviamente el paisaje desde este tan alto mirador, afortunadamente hay dos opciones para llegar a él: subir las 1000 escaleras bajo el sol y casi ningún árbol; o subir en teleférico en 4 minutos. Hay que hacer fila para subir pero eso es lo único molesto, arriba las vistas de Cochabamba son únicas y vale la pena haber subido; el Cristo es bastante más grande de lo que parece, y en su planta baja se pueden comprar estatuillas a escala, y depende de cada uno si quiere pagar 2bs para subir dentro de él 10 pisos arriba.

Es un lugar demasiado bonito ya que podemos ir en un teleférico, auto, caminata. Llegado una vez es un bello mirador de la ciudad de Cochabamba. Además que podemos entrar al interior donde vemos muchas cosas antiguas.
