A fascinating place

El Capitan is a famous cinema located on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. Built in 1926, it hosted the premieres of several films, including Citizen Kane. The cinema was purchased and renovated by Disney in the 90's in order to revitalize the neighborhood, preparing it for the 2001 opening of the Hollywood and Highland Center. In 2005, Disney's Soda Fountain and Studio Store was opened just to the left of the entrance to the cinema. A beautiful theater

Excellent

El Capitan Theatre is one of many cinemas located on Hollywood Boulevard along with the Kodak Theater and Grauman's Chinese Theatre. It is a 6-storey building managed by Walt Disney Pictures. This is where Orson Welles' Citizen Kane premiere was held. It is particularly beautiful when it is lit up by night.
