El Camellón de Los Martires

This is a monument dedicated to all those from Cartagena who died fighting (one reason why the city is also known as the Heroic City). It's also called the Walk of the Martyrs, and has great monuments with group busts of those who were executed by the "peacemaker" Pablo Morillo. There are two fountains at the beginning and end of the path, and two tablets inscribed with names. In the centre is a sculpture, donated by the ladies of the city, as a reminder of all those who died defending Cartagena de Indias.
