El Baturro Restaurant

Following the advice in a guidebook on Chile, when we stopped at Las Tunas on the way to Santiago, we tried the lean meat on the tasty menu. Hidden between the ubiquitous porches on the sunny cities on the island, is an air conditioned bar (meaning that the door is permanently closed and you have to ring the door bell)and special decoration. As we could see, the furniture was normal but the walls are a veritable showcase of thoughts, images and quotes. Most of them are anonymous, but there are plenty of writers, artists and singers who stop by the restaurant to leave their mark on the walls. We enjoyed looking at the wall while we waited for our food.
