El Barril de Recoletos

Hay varios restaurantes y tabernas de la cadena El Barril repartidos por Madrid (y todos realmente buenos). Por eso me sorprendió gratamente descubrir que existía un nuevo restaurante de la firma, muy cerca de la Plaza de Cibeles. Como en el resto de restaurantes del grupo, el Barril de Recoletos funciona igualmente como bar de tapeo como de restaurante más formal y es de esos sitios donde difícilmente se falla, aunque para ello te peguen un pequeño palo en la cuenta. Por supuesto, aquí el pulpo a la gallega es la gran especialidad de la casa.

Several restaurants and taverns chain El Barril scattered Madrid (and all really good). So I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a new signature restaurant, near the Plaza de Cibeles. As in other restaurants in the group, Barril de Recoletos also works as a tapas bar and more formal restaurant and is one of those places where hardly fails, even if it hit you a little stick in the mind. Of course, here the Galician octopus is the great specialty of the house.
