Eglise Saint Michel

L'Eglise Saint Michel se situe à Salon de Provence dans le département du sud de la France: les Bouches du Rhône. Située sur la placette Saint Michel, l'hiver une mini patinoire attirant les familles, elle est visitée même en nocturne avec le marché de Noël, presque un peu cachée de l'avenue principale, on peut y venir se recueillir... Construite au début du XIIIème siècle, entre 1220 et 1239, on voit que le plafond de l'Eglise est typiquement roman, il y a peu de fioritures extérieures, à l'intérieur elle reste très sobre. Cependant, même si c'est une petite Eglise, la Nef est unique, et on peut y voir de l'art gothique, pour l'époque ce fut une des premières Eglises à en bénéficier! Elle fut classée Monument Historique en 1983.
