An adventure
Food-wise, it's pretty good. We tried everything, but be warned that prices and quality don't always go hand in hand. For example, in one case we had a great dinner for 8000 rupees (about 70 euro cents), while elsewhere food for twice the price was really bad. We boiled water for hygiene, and enjoyed the delicious fruits on offer: pineapple, coconut, banana ... in terms of accommodation, you'll find all sorts of places on offer. A waterside bungalow can cost the same as a filthy hovel, so look for information in advance.
