East Missoula Egg Hunt

Now in its 25th year, the annual Easter Egg hunt in East Missoula continues to draw crowds --several hundred at least. The spectacle fills a former elementary school field the day before Easter and includes a lot more than the traditional egg hunt (which is divided by age group). This year there was free drinks, free hot dogs (not bad), the chance to sit in police cars, fire trucks, and a Life Flight helicopter, as well as bouncy houses, games, and more. The egg hunt is, of course, the main attraction, with kids running across an open field to snatch up eggs containing candy and a few gift certificates.
