A relaxing park
East Meadow is close to the purely sporting area of North Meadow. It is a space dedicated entirely to relaxation, very close to 5th Avenue. Be aware that there aren't many entrances to Central Park; we walked for quite a while down 5th Avenue before finding another gate that allowed us in.
