Dunkeld

Dunkeld is a village on the banks of the River Tay in the Highlands. It's in an excellent location, it's a good place to start to explore the Highlands, Perth county and Kingross. It's the ideal place to get lost in nature, offering visitors recreational activities such as hiking, golf, or salmon fishing. Historically, this town is very important, especially in pre-medieval and medieval times, because it was the religious headquarters as chosen by King David I. It has a beautiful cathedral that was instrumental in Scotland in the 14th and 15th centuries. Today it's one of the main attractions and reasons to visit this town.
