Dumfries

Near the border between England and Scotland in Scottish territory (the area known as the "Borders") is the town of Dumfries. Here we ride along a country road after spending awhile on the A74 motorway that goes to Carlisle, and crossing the way through Dumfries. It is quite a lovely spot, with all the topics Scots applied to a small strip of land just 20 km Mountains, valleys, waterfalls, rivers and lots of green ... there are lots of spots filled with nature where you can stop to admire the scenery, which is the most recommended to appreciate this area, south of Scotland. The rout to Dumfries is almost more beautiful than the city itself, but as always, everything has its charm.
