Chano
For lovers of nature and hiking
Situated within the Exmoor National Park, in southwest England, and twinned with Artea in the Basque Country, Dulverton is a small, charming town of about 1500. The central four blocks house all the stores you'll find here (a supermarket, several pubs, restaurants, a pharmacy, hardware store, etc) and the houses are spread around the area.
Please note: Exmoor House, built in 1855, is now the Exmoor National Park Information Center, where you can get maps with various hiking trails. Pros: Dulverton is an ideal spot to unwind, meters from the fresh air of the forest. Perfect to escape the urban lifestyle.
Cons: there's no nightlife here, and the public transport is quite poorly-connected.
