Castle, Church and Bridge
Ducey is a charming little village tucked away a few kilometers from Mont St. Michel. It's a great idea to stay in this area (Le Moulin de Ducey) to see the surroundings. Montgomery Castle, a 17th century monument, is the first thing you'll see once you get to this place and cross the river Selûne. It's in the process of being restored and you can visit its beautiful interior. The old stone bridge was the way pilgrims traveled on their way to the Mont St. Michel, and was declared a National Monument. Taking a walk along the river is a nice pastime.
