The history of motorcycles

Ducati started making electronic components in the wake of the findings like the Radio by Marconi. But war changed the business, and it started to make electrical appliances, only to later go back to engines. Since then, they have continued to evolve and win prizes. The visit can be described in two parts, the factory tour and museum visit. Both need booking in advance, and you cannot take pictures or record video. The factory is a journey through the entire process, from the motor assembly to the assembly of the bike itself, and all tests performed. It's interesting when they first put petrol in the bike, and you hear the roar of the engine for the first time.

In part of the museum (photos allowed) is a tour through history, from the first motor 1 HP, 1 ml and 1 liter reaching a top speed of 50 km / h to the latest models. In addition to the bikes, there are genuine masterpieces like technical drawings done by hand, with pencil, compass, square, and bevel.

The factory tour is amazing, the guide tells you about the history of Ducati and as manufactured motorcycles, Ducati like to work as 11,000 workers, 44,000 motorcycles per year are produced and exported more countries where USA and Europe are Germany, England and France. I can not show you pictures of the factory as this so forbidden that you must come to see it ;). At the end of the factory tour that you have to book in advance through their website and they have 4 shifts a day, we went to see the museum where you can see the evolution year by year of the bikes, photographs and historical videos.

Ducati will split into two parts: the factory and museum

First we visited the factory where all the assembly process of the brand. Impressive to see how step by step the bike is taking shape. The museum is like a time machine. We can see that manufactured motorcycles from 1946 up to today, to all who have won races like Moto GP. Interesting museum to learn about the evolution of this brand.
