A special experience
Driving along a strip of hot asphalt, surrounded by sand, with profiles of distant mountains on the horizon is an experience that remains in my mind and heart. Driving through the deserts of California and Nevada is a special experience shared by many travelers who have dreamed of the famous Route 66. But it's not easy. The appearance of a service station in the middle of nowhere, like the famous Roy's Cafe in Amboy, is like seeing a mirage of an oasis. Los Angeles is connected to Las Vegas via highway through the desert but we don't recommend it.
