The wave on a string
Doubs River passes through the town of Besançon and is a blast. By a wall of the city, being on its banks is like being in a secluded spot in the woods, out of town, with a river running so slowly that you can almost swim and on the beach - by God I did! I looked for a sandy bank and I dove there. The day was warm and inviting, but I have to be honest, I did not last even 5 minutes in the water as it was freezing! I am used to the warm Mediterranean Sea on the Costa Blanca. The day was perfect, a beautiful place, pretty Besançon with the river surrounding it, something unique! I recommend it to
