Dos Gafos Fluvial Path

This leafy promenade runs along the river Gafos; it is at the very heart of the city. It starts at the bus station and travels up to the district capital of Campolongo, or vice versa,. Although the river has its source in a rural area, I only know the urban river walk that can be covered in half an hour. The free space left by the intense building activity was converted into a linear park, which bridges part of the Station Avenue, crosses Avenida de Vigo and give access to the Campolongo park (the largest in the city). The entire way is actually a leafy path that runs on both sides of the river, supported by wooden walkways to make the passage.
