Doña Manuela Hostel

The incredible village of Mompox has hostels that seem to be suspended in time. One of them is the Doña Manuela, in an extraordinary house which is more than 300 years old. The house seems to have undergone changes over time. It has huge rooms with antique rocking chairs, and a large veranda overlooking a large courtyard where there is spectacular and gigantic tree called 'Suan' (family of ficus) like something out of a novel by García Márquez.
