Doel

A couple of months ago I went to Doel. This is a Belgian village located near the Dutch border, almost in a state of neglect, so one can walk through the deserted streets and into empty houses. Only 40 inhabitants, Doel has been devoured by the port city of Antwerp and its need for expansion. On my last visit, there was an event where there were concerts, an antique market and other second-hand things. Reaching Doel from Antwerp, a city where I was staying, it is not easy (at least not by bike) since both locations are separated by 20 kilometers and then a boat ride, without which the road extends 20 kilometers, but I did it and stayed for several hours enjoying the concerts, trivia and taking pictures different.
