Excellent alternative pub
The Django's riff is a pub in Liverpool city centre, and is named after the legendary jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. It's just off concert Square (the central meeting point at night), and near the Camel Club (which I'll review another time). It's in front of a Starbucks, and near many other places to go. Some years back this used to be the Beluga Bar, where I spent many good nights with £1 tequila shots as a student with little money. It's not a very big place, but it has a great atmosphere. It's decorated with alternative works of art, even the tables have some arty features. The music isn't mainstream either.
