Diving in Cozumel

Cozumel is located on the Caribbean Sea off the coast of Quintana Roo. It is the largest inhabited island in Mexico and its main attraction is the scuba diving which is considered to be among the best in the world. There are around 55 different dive sites around the Island and some of them can also be used for snorkeling. Most dive sites, including the most popular ones, are located on the southwest side of the island. The most recommended sites for scuba diving are: The Paradise Reef, Santa Rosa Wall, the Palancar and Colombia Reefs, Punta Sur, and Chun Chacab. Immersed in a warm, crystal clear sea, the large banks of incredible coral gardens are home to a rich and varied fauna.
