Diego Rivera House Museum

Cuando visitas Guanajuato el Museo Casa Diego Rivera es una de las paradas obligadas. En este lugar podrás sentir el aire de antaño e imaginarte no sólo como fue la vida de uno de los pintores más reconocidos de México (incluso aparece en los billetes) y quien fuera el amor atormentado de la famosa Frida Kahlo. Esta antigua casa se conserva muy bien y casi fiel a como era originalmente en cuanto a su decoración. El mobiliario es increíble y puedes acercarte discretamente para contemplarlos con gran gusto, objetos, fotografías y hasta una máquina de escribir del siglo XIX te puedes encontrar. En otras de sus plantas puedes ver pinturas, bocetos y óleos del artista (no se pueden fotografiar). Otro lado del museo acoge muestras temporales por lo que es recomendable revisar la programación.

In other of its plants you can see paintings, sketches and leos artist (can not be photographed). Across the museum hosts temporary exhibitions so it is advisable to check the programming.
