The Rest Devon hotel is on the edge of Lake Kandy, not far from the bus station and the temple of the tooth, which you can see from the hotel, across the lake. It is situated well because the main road is traveled by many tuk tuk and buses that take you to any place you want. Beware if you reserve a room in this hotel because there is another hotel called the Devon and is on the lake too. The hotel is old, and most of the guests are nationals or pilgrims.
