They say that if you dedicated a minute to each piece on display in this museum, you'd need 36 days to take it all in! Located on an island in the River Isar, this huge theatre of science is the most popular museum in Germany, and one of the largest in the world to be dedicated entirely to science and technology. It contains more than 17,000 pieces, from a simple sundial to a space shuttle. I recommend using the audio guide, and you could easily spend 8 hours here.
