Desenzano del Garda

Tra le cittadine che si affacciano sul Lago di Garda, Desenzano è forse quella che più di ogni altra dà l'impressione di trovarsi in una località di qualche riviera del mediterraneo. Forse perché si affaccia sulla parte più ampia del lago, forse perché offre un po' di tutto, dalle spiagge, allo shopping, allo sport alla cultura. E forse anche perché è una delle più accessibili, essendo situata sulla sponda pianeggiante che si apre sulla pianura padana. Il centro, completamente pedonale, si sviluppa su entrambi i lati di Piazza Malvezzi. Una breve salita conduce al Castello, dal quale si può ammirare una delle più ampie vedute del lago. Ritornando alla piazza verso il lago, si attraversa il vecchio porto veneziano e si raggiunge la passeggiata del lungolago. Ideale per passare una giornata rilassante praticamente in qualsiasi periodo dell'anno.

Questa ridente città sul lato sud-ovest del lago di Garda prende il nome dall'antico proprietario, Decentius, ed è una meta estiva molto trafficata per le molte risorse e possibilità turistiche offerte. Oltre ai numerosi percorsi ciclabili infatti è spesso ricordata per le zone balneabili sul lago, con piccole spiagge sassose, per la possibilità di passeggiare lungo il romantico porticciolo o per un aperitivo in compagnia nel borgo centrale in qualche localino all'ultima moda. Sul lago è inoltre possibile trovare l'occasione di partecipare a sport acquatici in apposite strutture o imbattersi in feste ed eventi serali, come per i magici fuochi di ferragosto che si riflettono sull'acqua. Per chi cerca una vacanza itinerante sui percorsi dell'arte invece è possibile visitare edifici storici e musei come: il duomo di S.Maria Maddalena, la villa romana, il museo civico o la torre di S.Martino.

La verdad que era el pueblo menos turístico pero coincidió nuestra visita, con el día que hacían un gran mercadillo. Aprovechamos para hacer unas compras que nos quedaban. Después, como cada día, tocaba un poco de paseo y seguir comprobando que buenos eran los helados italianos, uhhmmmm!!. Hay que decir, que estos pueblos alrededor del lago eran bastantes parecidos, donde resaltaban su paseo marítimo a la orilla del lago y su paseo mas comercial, por su interior, lleno de restaurantes y tiendas comerciales. Esta localidad representa la capital del lago y su municipio mas poblado. Recomendamos recorrer las callejuelas del centro histórico y visitar las iglesia de Santa María Magdalena (SXVI) donde alberga la Última Cena de Tiépolo.
